SEO Link Monster – Automated Link Building Software
I have recently found out that Google have slapped blog networks. I read that SEO Link Monster have been affected by this.
I will leave the old post intact because it demonstrates that even good automated link building can be a dangerous thing. You will understand what I mean when you read the post. 02/-4/2012

The Original Post
I never thought that I would hear myself say go and buy this Automated Link Building Software
I have to say that this goes against the grain a little. I have in the past written a four page tutorial on blog commenting. In that tutorial I said that you should not use automated link building software. I even went as far as to really slam automated blog commenting software. In this short post I’m going to eat my words.
Before I go on, let me make it clear that I’m not one for promoting products on my blog. Take a good look around and you will see that I recommend many free products and services. As I write this, there is only one premium WordPress plugin that I promote and that’s because it’s a worthwhile addition to WordPress.
Yesterday, I received an email from an SEO friend who was jumping through hoops over a new product called SEO Link Monster, that he had just purchased. I have since checked it out for myself and I have to say that I am impressed.
I’m not going to bang on about it or even try to sell you on it. If you know me, you will know that is just not me. All I will say is, if you are interested in SEO, you want to lighten the work load and get good results, go and check out SEO Link Monster.

Hi Ibnea.
I’m not sure why that is the case. I have just been to the page myself and the video worked fine. Maybe you were just unlucky and got there when there was some kind of technical hitch.
Hey, its nice to use automated software for link building. Can I know that up to what extent this software is worthy?

Scott, I can only be honest with you about this and say that I haven’t fully got the measure of it yet.
It’s quite new and as you probably already know it takes a little time before the results are measurable.
What I can say is that it came highly recommende by someone who I trust and regard as one of the most ethical Internet marketers I know.
I wish I could tell you more but it would be unfair for me to rant on about results that I cannot yet measure.
I will update this post or write another when I have more to go on.
The sales page for the product tells a lot about how it works. I think you will agree that in priciple it looks very good compared to many of the automated link building systems that promise the earth and deliver next to nothing.

Hi Kate.
Yes, for a change this is something automated that has been given some thought.
I have to confess, I’m busy creating a product and getting ready for the launch, so I still haven’t got around to doing anything with it.
It’s great in that you can get some decent quality links instead of the usual worthless rubbish offered by most link building software.
Maybe a little expensive for those with a single blog or site in a low yielding niche but a powerful tool for the serious marketer.
Nice to see you here Kate and thank’s for sharing your thoughts.

Hi Kate.
Yes I think it’s probably out of reach for the average blog owner but serious marketers and SEO’s might find it a valuable asset to their collection of tools.
Nice to see you here again Kate and thank’s for your input.
Time is very limited, (in my opinion), for the use of any type of automated link building software. Given the importance of creating real, shareable content via social media channels, mass manufactured links are falling to the wayside.
Hi Jeff.
I agree that quality should be the first focus of link building and social plays a major role. Overal though you need a diverse range of links. I do use a couple of semi automated tools. Not for thousands of links but to drip feed in some different types of links while I work on other things like social and better quality links. They are low worth but I wouldn’t totaly dismiss it because it gives some diversity. The trouble is there’s a lot of poor quality programs and services out there to avoid. Some could even make things bad for you.
Gotcha. Dripping content to blogs, link wheels, blog networks can still provide some low level link support. It’s a necessary evil, however I wonder for how much longer…
Personally, I don’t trust of any auto-link software.
Yes, it’s cheap only $147 for 1250 links. But how?
I prefer the manual approaches. Then a can sleep well.
Am’I right?
Hi Dimitry.
I have always shared this view. This came along and I thought it had proved me wrong. However, there is a twist to this tale. I have been reminded why automated usually means pretty worthless.
Google have just made a change to their algorithm and slapped blog networks. I just read that SEO Monster have been hit hard by this.
Automated Link Building software is not able to build quality back links, from this point of view it is useless. But if you want to save your time and don’t want to do boring link building then go for it.
Hi Adivol.
Yes I agree that automated link building software is pretty useless for building quality backlinks. Some software and services are OK as an addition to manual though.
You need a diverse range of links. If you use your time manually building quality links, you can use software to bring in a range of less valuable but equally important links. If you are going to use automated software, it’s a good idea to use something that will drip feed the links.
Everybody loves manual link building for there are assurance for the links, automated are just for those who are in the rush I think, but somehow, some of the automated stuff like that, it’s pure waste of $.
I have to mostly agree Kelly. I used some automated software but only to get one link per day. I find that this particular package delivers around a 50% success rate. The links are not very good but they do help build on numbers and diversity.
Hey Steve,
I too think that seo link monster was a good backlinking tool that I used for a couple of my campaigns. One rule I have always stuck to, though, is that I manually do all of my own backlinking for my most important blogs and sites only because I know that this is the only sure way to ensure enduring through everything Google has to throw at us.
Trust is a huge thing, and even though there are good backlinking services that can be trusted to deliver quality, if Google doesn’t like it, we are subject to the punishment.
Take Care,
~Jeremy

Hi Jeremy. Nice to see you back here.
Well, the first part of the post gives it all away really. I used to think it suspect. This came along and changed my mind. Google changed their algorithm and made me changed it back. lol.
Common sense should have told me that it probably wouldn’t last but at least it was good while it did.
