Founded by Steve Hippel in 2011, Sussex SEO is a new company based in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex.

Steve Hippel became involved in Internet marketing in 2008. Having built and run a small number of money making affiliate websites, he decided to turn his new found skills to benefit his own small building business.

After developing a few websites in competitive markets, Steve was surprised at how easy it was to place small local business websites, high in the search results. Steve went on to build websites for a number of small local businesses and boasts that he has placed the vast majority of them in the top 3 on Google.

After mastering SEO (search engine optimisation) and many Internet marketing techniques, Steve decided to teach himself how to write code. He now writes and uses HTML, PHP, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY and is competent with database programming.

Steve will often joke that he learned his trade backwards and that he is glad that he did. He believes that you should design a website around the SEO and marketing needs of the company not the other way around.

Hi I’m Steve Hippel and I would like to take a moment to let you know that I am here to help you.

Of course I am happy to build and run your project for you but there is a bit more to me than just that. I also have a great deal of time and admiration for anyone who wants to build and run their own website. Why? Because this is where it all began for me.

Going back a couple of years now, I built a small kitchen fitters website and a small company brochure website for my business. I developed these websites to deliver over 30 000 hits a year.

This is just a drop in the ocean in terms of web numbers but for a local sole trader, well you can imagine it was more than helpfull.

Running your own website takes a little time and commitment but it is well worth the effort. I did not have the benefit of having a web developer at my side but if you want to, you do.
